In compliance with the Article 13 of Law Decree dated June 30, 2003, number 196 – Codex, in the matter of personal data protection, IEMME by MATTANA MARIA GABRIELLA & C. S.N.C. (hereby identified as “Owner”), owner of the website www.emporiodeltessuto.com (hereby “Website”) informs the users who interact with the services offered by the Website (hereby “User” or “Users”), accessible by telematics network, regarding the treatment of personal data of the website guests.

The present disclaimer only applies to the Website and not to other websites potentially visited by the User through links appearing on the Website.

The treatment is implemented with respect to the following conditions.

1. Owner of the personal data treatment

2. Personal data handled by the Owner and data treatment objectives

2.1. Data related to the Website browsing.
In order to make possible the display, the consultation and the browsing of the Website’s pages, the IT systems and the software procedures in charge of the Website’s functioning gather some of the User’s data, whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet’s communication protocols.
In this data’s category are included IP addresses or domain names of the users connecting to the Website; the time of the request, the methods used to forward the request to the server, the dimension of the file obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the response’s status from the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the operational system and the IT environment of the User.
The Website, during its browsing, will send to the User’s computers some cookies to help users personalise and optimise, even timewise, the Website’s navigation. The above-mentioned data are handled in compliance with the article 123 - Codex, in the matter of personal data protection, therefore, when they become useless to the transmission of electronic communication, they are deleted, that is made anonymous according to the time frame shown below, in order to allow the elaboration of statistics information regarding the Website’s use and to control its functioning. The above-mentioned data will be kept as long as strictly necessary to pursue the above-mentioned objectives, and then deleted once the objective is reached.
These data are only handled to facilitate the Website’s navigation, to elaborate statistics information regarding the Website use and to track possible illicit activities to the detriment of the Website.

2.2 Data supplied voluntarily by the User
The User has the discretion to voluntarily send email messages to the addresses provided by the Website; in this case the Owner or one of its delegate will obtain the sender’s email address in order to reply to his/her requests, as well as other personal data included in the email.

3. Modalities of data treatment

Personal Data are gathered and handled through electronic and automatized electronic devices. Personal Data will be stored on the server where it is placed the software enabling the Website’s functioning. Personal Data will be handled legitimately and correctly, exclusively for the objectives indicated at point 2 of the present Disclaimer. Personal Data that are stored are protected by means of subtraction or alteration through specific security, management and storing systems.

4. Nature of data processing and consequences related to unsuccessful data processing

Without prejudice to the optional data voluntarily supplied by the User (see point 2.2), the User’s provision of Data related to the Website browsing is optional; in order to avoid the provision of these data, the User will have to use specific software obtainable online, which allows him/she to anonymously browse the internet.

The unsuccessful provision of these data entails the preclusion of reaching the objective related to the Website’s statics elaborations and of tracking illicit activities in detriment of the Website.

The User may oppose to the reception of cookies by setting his/her browser in a way to block the reception of these data. The cookies deactivation will however prevent the full employment of the Website’s functionalities, including the purchase activities. 

5. Data communication

Data originated by the Website browsing may be transmitted within the limits strictly necessary to reach the objectives stated at point 2 or for the purposes shown below, to the third parties shown below:

  • Webmaster (person responsible for website maintanance and implementation of software and IT systems aimed at the Website’s functioning).
  • Public Authorities and/or Police Organisations who request it in the cases stated by the law.

The IEMME by MATTANA MARIA GABRIELLA & C. S.N.C will appoint the third parties to whom personal data will be transmitted, on the basis of what was previously mentioned, as Responsible or Appointee of Data Treatment, with the exception of Public Authorities and/or Police Organisations who request it in the cases stated by the law.

The data provided voluntarily will not be transmitted to any third person but the “Owner”.

6. Category of parties who may come to the attention of personal data

The Personal Data handled by IEMME by MATTANA MARIA GABRIELLA & C. S.N.C may come to the attention of the following Parties, with given limits to the charges taken and to the responsibilities received through the designation of Responsible of Appointee of Data Treatment:

  • Legal representative of IEMME by MATTANA MARIA GABRIELLA & C. S.N.C.;
  • Associates of IEMME by MATTANA MARIA GABRIELLA & C. S.N.C.;
  • Parties listed at point 5 of the present Disclaimer and natural persons working for these parties.

The above-mentioned Natural and Legal persons will handle Personal Data only within the limits strictly required to the compliance of the performances requested by the User and will protect the privacy in compliance with current regulations.

7. Data communication

The Personal Data Protection code states that "communication" shall mean disclosing personal data to one or more identified entities other than the data subject, the data controller’s representative in the State’s territory, the data processor and persons in charge of the processing in any form whatsoever, including by making available or interrogating such data” for instance by publishing Personal Data on a website accessible to everyone or by publishing on a school notice board.
The Owner specifies that Personal Data will not be object of communication.

8. Data subject’s rights

The User may address to the IEMME by MATTANA MARIA GABRIELLA & C. S.N.C. to exercise its rights as stated by the articles 7-10 of the Personal Data Protection Code, of which we report the most important aspects:

  • right to obtain from the Owner the confirmation of the existence of personal data and their making available in an intelligible way;
  • right to acknowledge the data sources, objectives and modalities of treatment, of the reasoning applied to the treatment, of the personal data of the Owner and the parties to whom the data may be transmitted;
  • to have their personal data updated, amended or supplemented or have their personal data cancelled, transformed into anonymous data or blocked by the data controller due to the violation of the law;
  • Right toobject to the processing of their personal data on the basis of lawful reasons.
